January 18: Sunday morning...very early.  What am I doing wide awake and then it hit me. Two years ago today, Barry Mell - a dear friend and the band's former Agent passed away on the same day in 2013 as we were about to showcase at the Blues Summit 6 on that evening. We've come a long way, Barry!  Then a smile comes to my face as I realize that it has been 7 years that the band has been playing!  We've had band member changes but the past 2 years with the addition of Rami Cassab on guitar, we've made headway - more radio airplay, a residency, quality gigs, a continuously growing fan base, more nominations and awards, more songwriting, but most of all a real appreciation between each member of the band, a stronger bond and friendship.

January 13: What a surprise! Bad Taboo has been quite the blessing for the band!  It keeps gaining momentum within the music industry.  Bad Taboo placed #8 on CHMR FM's Blind Lemon Top 20 Canadian Blues Albums of 2014.  This is the second time we place Top 10.  The first time was with Original Sin.  Quite exciting as we currently forge ahead working on our 4th album and getting ready for some interesting projects that will be announced shortly!  Stay tuned!

January 5: HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yep, another year behind us.  We had a great gig bringing in the New Year at the House of Jazz in Montreal.  It was a full house! People were dancing, singing, celebrating!  I just love it when they come up to the stage and dance.  Some were singing the words to our original material - what a treat!  The next day, I was hit with the flu bug, OUCH! It's only today that I feel somewhat human (thanks to the prescribed antibiotics) and I was able to write a couple more songs for our next album.  I can't wait to bring it to the studio to see how it sounds with the band!
