Born out of Correctional Services Canada, this pilot group exists to help former inmates reintegrate society with volunteers to help in the process. NEO-DEP is recruiting volunteers to meet the challenge of assisting these people with their reintegration into society.  Of course, the volunteers will be thoroughly trained in the do's & don'ts of working with these folks.    It will take a special kind of person to volunteer for NEO-DEP...one who is tolerant, patient and who believes in second chances. For the former inmates, it is their last chance to make a good life for themselves, one slip-up and it's back inside.

Other than that, I am still on vacation from DD Swank although I am thoroughly enjoying working on my Blues/Jazz album. I've finally joined SOCAN and have been writing up material and going in the studio to record almost every week.  Dan Legault and Naveen Uttamchandani are backing me up with the music. These guys are really very easy to collaborate with.  Working with them has allowed me to breathe easily so I can write as much as I wish.  Since my vacation from DD Swank, I've believe I have enough material for 2 albums.  That's alot of Blues 'n Jazz!

As far as film is concerned, my agent keeps me busy with auditions here and there (crossing my fingers and thinking good thoughts).  I recently booked 1 day at a film shoot.  Really fun!  Check out RECON 2023, it'll be out next year.

I'm still maintaining my day job but I am getting choosier with the clients I work with.  I am transitioning out of the corporate world back into this artistic/entertainment milieu that makes me feel so alive.  It's funny, now that my mind has been made up and I've taken steps to make the move, I am getting invited to Universities as a guest speaker.  It only took about 20 years to get there.  Phew....that's a lifetime already!

That's it for now. Thanks for dropping by to keep posted.  I'll try my best to keep the site updated.  In any case, there will be a couple of announcements coming soon!
