PKD Fundraiser (Polycystic Kidney Disease) - Montreal, Qc

In honor of the Montreal chapter of the PKD Foundation of Canada (Polycystic Kidney Disease), Carolyn Fe and Jean-Francois will be singing a few songs a long with other artists from various disciplines to raise funds and awareness of this disease at Montreal's Rialto Theatre. May 26, 2019, 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is one of the most common life-threatening genetic diseases, affecting approximately 1 in 500. It does not skip a generation. There is usually a family history of the disease and parents with ADPKD have a 50 percent chance of passing the disease on to each of their children. Early in the disease, patients often experience no symptoms. In fact, many people don’t realize they have ADPKD because they have so few, if any symptoms.
