Carolyn Fe plays the role of a matriarch healer set in World War II in the Philippines, "Hilot Means Healer" is a historical drama about one family’s attempt to heal the soul and wounds born from atrocities and occupation. Through the touch of plants and their surroundings, hope is found in the garden of a healer. The play incorporates multiple disciplines, both in traditional and modern forms of Filipino arts.
