Why is it that when the same song is sung by two different performers, one can reach out to you and the other leaves you out in the cold? It is not only about the voice, it is also about how the song is delivered. This workshop will help the participant understand the importance of lyrics and the delivery thereof. Lyrics’ delivery, proxemics and physical positioning will be studied. Participants will gain an understanding lyrics from various points of views; discovering the options in the delivery of a song as well as bringing in movement, gestures, and staging the fine line between looking at the audience and staying true to themselves.

• email or bring a printed copy of the lyrics;
• will perform the song “off book” during the workshop;
• RSVP your place before May 24, only 10 participants/workshop;
