Tribute to Barry Mell

On January 18th, music agent Kevin Barry Mell died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 49.  Carolyn Fe Blues Collective (one of Mell’s artists), in collaboration with the Rialto Theatre, is producing A Tribute to Barry, a benefit concert to honour the man who worked passionately behind the scenes so that his artists could shine. The show features Emmanuelle Julien, Rob Lutes, Greenwood, Juliel, Denis Viel, and the River Bottom Nightmare Band (Mell’s own band that he fronted as singer). Carolyn Fe Blues Collective will not be playing as they will be hosting the event. The show will be followed by a 3-course dinner at the il Rialto next door where family, friends and musicians can mingle and reminisce. All proceeds will go to MusiCounts, a non-profit organization that works to ensure children have access to music programs through their schools.
