Rick Bel is pleased to be given the chance to work with a new and exciting company.
After seeing " ‘night, Mother", he was sold on Altera Vitae - a company who
touches real life issues and helps give back to the community. Selected credits

Anisa
Cameron as Liz
Anisa is thrilled to be working with Altera Vitae and the inspiring cast of Almost Blue.
She studied acting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received her BFA in Theatre
and Development from Concordia University. Anisa has worked as an actor, dancer, choreographer
and director in both Canada and the United States. She would like to thank her family and
friends for their support and Carolyn for giving her this opportunity. Thank you for coming out
to support The Arts in Canada and NEO-DEP, a fledgling program with a worthy goal. |

Patrick
Goddad as Blue
Patrick Goddard has graced the MainLine stage as Tesman in Hedda
Gabler, Adam and Silvius in As You Like It, Sebastian Loré
and Oatsie Carewe in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, and Lorenzo and
Pax in Johnny Canuck and the Last Burlesque. In January, he'll be
in The Real Inspector Hound. Patrick has a B.F.A. from Concordia
University, studied with the One Yellow Rabbit ensemble in Calgary,
and was totally horrible (top level) with Philippe Gaulier in Paris.
Patrick sunlights as the General Manager of MainLine Theatre and
the St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival: your Fringe application
is due December 1st. |

Vance
De Waele as Steve
A graduate from Concordia’s Theatre Performance program, Vance
is excited to take on this thrilling role. His other recent productions
include Saving Céline (C’est Cheese Productions), Quills,
A Lie of the Mind ( both from Fallen Angel Productions), I See London,
I See France (CETM) and Transhumain (Doc. Theatre). Vance would
like to thank his friends and family for their constant support
throughout the years. |

Carolyn
Fe, Director & Artistic Director of Altera Vitae
This is Carolyn’s directorial debut and 2nd production under the Altera Vitae Productions banner.
As an actress, you may have seen her as the Mothers in Teesri Duniya Theatre’s Miss Orient(ed),
Justine and Victor’s Mother in Fallen Angel Productions’ Monster and Berthe in MainLine’s staging
of Hedda Gabler). As a singer, she co-founded the local band DD Swank and is also a solo blues/jazz
singer with an album on the way. Carolyn likes to stay focused by keeping things moving, paying it
forward and being grateful for the strength, tolerance and perseverance to take on interesting
opportunities that come her way. |

Mindy
Sirois, Stage Manager
This is Mindy’s second time stage managing for Altera Vitae
and is very pleased to be back. Mindy is a graduate of the John
Abbott College Professional Theatre Program. Past theatre credits
include: Stage Manager for ‘Let Me Go’ by Noah’s
Ark Production, Sound designer for Persephone Productions’
‘Spring Awakening’, member of the Montreal’s Just
For Laughs and of the St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival technical
crew. She has worked for Tangente – Lieu de diffusion en danse
contemporaine. Mindy was also the Stage Manager and head technician
for the Just for Laughs "Best Montreal Fringe Festival Comedy"
award winners ‘Boy Groove.’ |

Vladimir
Cara, Technical Director &
Fight Choreographer
Vladimir believes that one is as free as his mind lets
him be. He doesn’t like to say, “I can’t”
because he believes that anything is possible as long as you put
your mind to it. Guided by this motto, he was part of several productions
this past year: A dancer in the contemporary piece Keeping Your
Eyes Gently Closed, Studio 303, a fight choreographer for Jehanne
of the Witches, production assistant and prop designer for Quills,
assistant stage manager and production assistant on Hedda Gabler,
and choreographer for The Elusive. Vladimir would like to thank
Altera Vitae for the opportunity to work once again with its wonderful
crew (the first was Night Mother). Enjoy the show! |

Dan
Legault, Sound Designer & Musician
Dan has been in the music industry way before the internet was a
viable medium for musicians. He has worked for R.I.O. which was
owned by Bob “Rags” Ramaglia (manager for Corey Hart,
April Wine). As a musician, his live experience with various bands
has him performing on TV, music videos, opening for major recording
artists as well as headlining festivals in front of 30,000 people
and a tour of Africa. Owning and operating a multimedia company,
Dan has 2 full length albums completed that has gained attention
from the industry. He is currently working on Carolyn Fe’s
blues album and doing tracks for an upcoming release for Universal
Music. Dan has teamed up with Altera Vitae Productions in recording
voice demos for actors. |

Naveen
Uttamchandani, Assistant Sound Design & Musician
Naveen Uttamchandani is a singer and piano player who has entertained
audiences as a performer all over the world. Naveen also owns his
own production company "Apricot Productions" and has recorded
and mixed albums for various Canadian recording artists such as
"Voodoo Jazz" and "Tribal Groove". In his spare
time, he teaches piano to the next generation of musical virtuosos. |
Yves
Jacquier, Musician
A French import, Yves is a mix between the old and new world; European
words on American music, classical notes on a modern tone. Co founder
and composer for local band DD Swank his cumulated experience gave
him the opportunity to collaborate on many musical projects for
TV and theater (“Conte Africain”, “Mae Day”
and most recently Altera Vitae Productions’ ‘Night Mother.
